Just about three weeks ago, Tiger Woods was involved in a single-vehicle accident that saw broken bones and fractures throughout his legs. Thankfully, Woods is alright and is already starting on the road to recovery.
However, it’s not unusual for some fans to already look towards a possible return to the golf course. After all, Woods is one of the greatest golfers of all-time. But a return to the sport may be easier said than done, judging by Woods’ injuries. No one knows what he’ll look like when he recovers or how long the process will take.
Bovada has several props related to Woods’ recovery and the possibility of him competing at a PGA event in the next two years. As of March 9, Bovada has Woods playing again in 2021 at +1600, certainly a long shot.
Here are some of the interesting Tiger Woods-related props.

- Yes +1600
Will Tiger Play Any PGA Tour Tournament In 2022?
Odds via Bovada as of Tuesday, March 9
- Yes +600
Judging by the above bets, it’s clear that Bovada is leaning towards a 2022 PGA return for Tiger Woods rather than this year. It makes sense. Woods severely damaged both of his legs and will need to go through intense rehab to get back to some semblance of a normal life. However, some doctors are estimating that it could take 8-12 months for Woods to complete rehab. That’s assuming that there aren’t any setbacks or additional surgeries.
With it being March, an eight-month recovery could see Woods return in November assuming he’s ready to play right away. It’s important to keep in mind that Woods is also 45 years old. A full recovery and getting back to playing in PGA tournaments would be easier if he were in his 20s. With that being said, these are just some of the factors as to why a 2022 return is more likely.
Will Tiger Woods Play The Masters In 2022?

Will Tiger Woods Win The Masters In 2022?
Odds via Bovada as of Tuesday, March 9

One of Tiger Woods’ goals in 2021 was to compete in this year’s Masters Tournament. He had just had back surgery in December 2020 and was waiting for his doctor’s approval to play again.
“A lot of it is based on my surgeons and doctors and therapist and making sure I do it correctly,” Woods told broadcaster Jim Nantz at the Genesis Invitational in February. “This is the only back I’ve got, I don’t have much more wiggle room left.”
With an April 2021 return being out of the question, Woods will have to turn his attention to the 2022 Masters. With that being 13 months away, it’s more likely that he’ll be recovered by then. In that case, Bovada is listing him at +300 to compete in the PGA tournament.
They’re also listing Woods at +10000 to win the 2022 Masters. Obviously, that is an extremely long shot. By that time, Woods would’ve spent around a year rehabbing his legs while his back isn’t getting any younger. However, if that somehow does happen, not even the best film writers could come up with that script. Needless to say, all eyes will be on Tiger Woods going forward.
