One of the most popular rock stars of all time, Rod Stewart, announced a residency in Las Vegas. He will return to the Sin City once again in 2020 and will have a total of 16 performances during March, September and October. The name of his residency is “Rod Stewart: The Hits,” and it is presented by Live Nation Las Vegas in collaboration with Caesars Entertainment. Needless to say, Stewart will perform at the iconic venue known as The Colosseum, which is a part of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The first performance will take place on March 6, 2020. He will perform one day after that as well, on March 7. Other dates that month include Match 11, 13, 14, 18, 20, and 21. If you don’t have an opportunity to listen to him in March, make sure to buy a ticket for September, when he plans six more performances. These will take place on Sept. 18, 19, 22, 24, 25, and 30. Finally, Stewart will return for two additional shows on Oct. 2 and 3.
Stewart was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame two times, and always fills up arenas wherever he performs. However, the Colosseum is not an arena per se, so you can expect a more intimate experience, which is tailored exclusively for Las Vegas audiences. The furthermost seats from the stage are only 145 feet away, meaning you will be able to see Stewart up close and enjoy his masterful performances of popular songs.
He will go over some of the chart-toppers that he made during his five-decade-long career, including evergreens such as The First Cut is the Deepest, Forever Young, Tonight’s the Night, Do Ya Think I’m Sexy, You Wear It Well, and Maggie May.
Ticket Sales
Tickets for the performances will officially be on sale on Oct. 11 at 10 am PT. However, presale tickets for fans are available as of Monday at 10 am PT. The presale will end on Oct. 10 at 10 pm PT.
American Express Card members will also have an opportunity to buy tickets before the official sale. They will be able to make a purchase starting Tuesday at 10 am PT. This presale will also end on Oct. 10 at 10 pm.
Finally, all members of the Caesars Rewards programs, Caesars Entertainment loyalty program, Live Nation and Ticketmaster users will be able to enter the presale starting Wednesday at 10 am PT. Their presale will also end on Oct. 10 at 10 pm.
The prices for the “Rod Stewart: The Hits” concerts will start at $49 (fees and tax not included). You can either buy them at The Colosseum’s Box Office located at Caesars Palace, or you can call 866-320-9763. If you want to make a purchase of 10 or more tickets, make sure to dial 866-574-3851. All shows are scheduled to start at 7:30 pm.
