The Winning Poker Network is embarking on an ambitious Saturday Super Series promotion from January “with prize pools so big, you´ll think it is Sunday”.
Back in October, [geolink href=”http://www.pokernewsreport.com/wpn-plans-weekly-million-dollar-sunday-events-next-year-21947″]PokerNewsReport.com[/geolink] was the first site to report the Winning Poker Network was planning weekly Million Dollar Sunday events from next January. Now the Network is extending its quest to be THE venue for the biggest online poker tournaments in the world by embarking on an ambitious Saturday Super Series promotion “with prize pools so big, you´ll think it is Sunday”.
The promotion runs for twelve weeks from Saturday January 6th (the day before the first of the weekly Million Dollar Sunday events) through to Saturday March 24th. During this period the tournament schedule at [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/black-chip-poker/”]Black Chip Poker[/geolink] and [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/americas-cardroom/”]Americas Cardroom[/geolink] will be increased in value from $200,000 to $750,000 and feature a new Saturday afternoon tournament with a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The Saturday Super Series in More Detail
The schedule for the Saturday Super Series consists of 121 tournaments running around the clock with buy-ins ranging from $0.07 to $320.00. In addition to enhancing the guarantees of the existing tournament schedule, the Network has introduced eight new “Streak” 8-Max tournaments – including the $200,000 guaranteed event at 3:15pm (ET).
It is noticeable that the first four of the new Streak tournaments are timed to appeal to the Network´s database of European players, and the final four events will likely find many Australian players late-registering. Late registration details have not yet been released, but a typical 3-hour late registration period will mean players on Australia´s Eastern Seaboard will have until 10:15am to buy-in to the events.

Something to Please Everyone in the Saturday Super Series
Regular players at Black Chip Poker and Americas Cardroom will be delighted to see the existing tournament schedule has not been tinkered with too much – just expanded in value. The regular Saturday 12 Pack, Big 10 and Turbo 10 tournaments are still in the schedule, as are the usual selection of novelty games such as the Super Knockout and Final Table Experience events.
Fans of Omaha Poker will enjoy the extended range of their favorite games included in the schedule -although they will have to wait until Sunday to play in the Network´s PLO Sunday Special if they want large sums of money on the table – and, in addition to the range of PLO and PLO8 games in freezeout, R/A and Knockout formats, the schedule includes Fixed Limit Hold´em and 7 Card Stud tournaments.

During the promotion the Network is adding more PLO tournaments to the schedule every day and increasing the guarantee for the PLO Sunday Special on 17th December to $50,000, plus giving players the opportunity to qualify for the tournament for free.
