The Winning Poker Network has released the schedule for its seventh OSS Cub3d series which will run for four consecutive weeks from February 10th to March 10th.
The Winning Poker Network´s Online Super Series Cub3d is an amalgamation of three of the network´s most popular tournament series – The Mini Online Super Series (MOSS), the Online Super Series (OSS), and the Bigger Online Super Series (BOSS). Years ago, they were scheduled individually, but more recently they have been scheduled back-to-back-to-back in order to give players an exciting and comprehensive full month of online poker.
The seventh series of OSS Cub3d runs from Sunday 10th February to Sunday 10th March and consists of 169 events guaranteed for more than $8 million. The two feature events are the OSS Main Event and BOSS Main Event – which both have guaranteed prize pools of $1 million – plus players will have the opportunity to win one of ten seats for next July´s $5 million guaranteed Venom event. Players are also being invited to take advantage of a reload bonus during the series.
Highlights of the OSS Cub3d Schedule
The MOSS schedule (February 10th to 17th) mostly consists of tournaments with buy-ins of $20 or less. The exceptions are the $125,000 guaranteed event on the opening day of the series (buy-in $55), a $15,000 guaranteed KO tournament later that evening, and a $60,000 guaranteed event on Wednesday evening. There are three further “high” buy-in events in the MOSS schedule on the final day of the opening week:
- MOSS #42 – $300,000 guaranteed MOSS Main Event (buy-in $88).
- MOSS #44 – Mega-Satellite to the BOSS Main Event (buy-in $215).
- MOSS #45 – $60,000 guaranteed High Roller event (buy-in $55).
The Online Super Series (February 18th to March 3rd) features a wide range of tournaments with buy-ins starting at $2.20 and going all the way up to $1,050. The Network has included several 6+ Hold´em tournaments in the schedule, plus a healthy scattering of PL Omaha and 7 Card Stud events. Purists of the traditional long game will not be disappointed due to plenty of NL Hold´em tournaments with six-figure guarantees, and a final day of the OSS series that includes:
- OSS #88 – $250,000 guaranteed Warm Up event (buy-in $109).
- OSS #90 – $250,000 guaranteed Sunday Special (buy-in $215).
- OSS #91 – $1,000,000 guaranteed OSS Main Event (buy-in $540).
The final week of the OSS Cub3d series (March 4th to 10th) consists of twenty-five BOSS tournaments guaranteeing more than $3.2 million in prize money. A comprehensive satellite schedule supports the schedule consisting of NL Hold´em and PL Omaha events with buy-ins of $109 or more. Eleven of the twenty-five tournaments have prize pool guarantees of $100,000 or higher, including these highlights:
- BOSS #5 – $150,000 guaranteed Extreme Tuesday event (buy-in $1,050).
- BOSS #8 – $125,000 guaranteed High Stakes Wednesday event (buy-in $320).
- BOSS #21 – $1,000,000 guaranteed BOSS Million Dollar Sunday Main Event (buy-in $2,100).
OSS Cub3d Leaderboard Competition and Reload Bonus
Each of the three segments of the OSS Cub3d series will have its own leaderboard competition, for which points will be awarded based on the tournament buy-in, the number of entries, and where each player finishes in the tournament. A total of ten seats for July´s $2,650 buy-in Venom event will be awarded to the top points scorers on the MOSS leaderboard (3 seats awarded), OSS leaderboard (4 seats awarded), and BOSS leaderboard (3 seats awarded).
