This weekend the partypoker US Network will be hosting the very first Progressive Knockout (PKO) Series. A total of nine events will take place with buy-ins starting at $20 and going as high as $320. Over $150,000 in guaranteed prize money will be on offer.

The series is open to players located in New Jersey with gaming offered via partypoker US, BetMGM Poker and Borgata Poker. The PKO tournament is one that is highly popular among players, so it is not surprising to see party offer this new series.
In PKO events, when a player eliminates a competitor, they claim a bounty. A portion of the bounty goes in their bankroll while another portion goes towards their own bounty. The more players you knockout, the more you earn and the higher your bounty. There is potential to earn major prizes with this format and the series is expected to be quite popular among players.
The Main Event of the series is one that is sure to see a ton of traffic. The event is PKO and will be played in Phased format, an option known at partypoker. The event offers a $75,000 prize pool and will offer a $35 Phase 1 flight each night. The surviving players will move their chip stacks to Phase 2 on August 2nd and will hopefully finish in the money.
Players who do not want to start in Phase 1 can begin instantly in Phase 2 but will need to pay a much higher buy-in of $320 to take part.
Daily qualifiers will also be on offer with a $5 buy-in. One in eight players will win an entry into the $35 Phase 1 while one in 10 will win a $45 satellite entry from the Phase 2 satellite. There will also be a daily Phase 2 satellite offering one in eight a seat to the $320 event.
