The World Poker Tour World Online Championships (WPTWOC) are currently taking place, offering $100 million in guaranteed prize money. The first winner has already been named and events on the schedule continue this week. From now until September 16, players will be able to take part in Championship Events, with five set to provide a seat to the Tournament of Champions worth $15,000. Each event has a large buy-in and party is now offering a way for players to earn a seat by taking part in Mega Satellites.
Mega Satellite Offering
In total, partypoker is offering up $1.5 million in seats to the World Poker Tour 8-Max Championship. This event is set to take place next weekend. From now until August 2, players can access these satellites.
The satellites are offered three-tiers, with buy-ins of $3.30, $33 and $320. Tickets are then given to $33, $320 and $3,200 events. Players can work their way into higher options or pay the higher buy-in to receive a ticket to a larger event.
Several events of the Championships will have satellites. The Mini Main Event is one such tournament. This event will offer up a whopping $5 million in prize money. The tournament has a buy-in of $1,050 but you can win a seat for just $22. This is a crazy low amount, especially considering that the satellite cost such a low amount to enter.
