With the WSOP Main Event starting this weekend, Americas Cardroom has announced that its World Series of Jackpots promotion will finish this coming Friday.
The WSOP Main Event is the most anticipated live poker tournament of the year, and changes to the pay-out structure for this season´s feature tournament means that more players than ever before will cash and that every player reaching the final table is guaranteed $1 million.

What is the World Series of Jackpots Promotion?

Whereas with the “regular” Jackpot games players can win random amounts up to 2,500 times their cash buy-in, the World Series of Jackpots promotion awards a minimum of two players in each game a cash prize and, when the Jackpot prize randomly appears, all three players will win a package to Las Vegas to compete in next week´s WSOP Main Event.
There are two buy-in levels to the World Series of Jackpot promotion – $3.00 and $30.00 – with players in the $30.00 games considerably more likely to be on a plane to Vegas next week. However, due to the prize structure, there has been a considerable amount of action in the $3.00 games – action which is expected to increase as the promotion comes to a close.
ACR Gearing Up for Next Million Dollar Sunday
If you fail to win a seat at the WSOP Main Event through Americas Cardroom´s World Series of Jackpots promotion, you could still be a big winner on August 2nd. That is the date when Americas Cardroom will be hosting its next Million Dollar Sunday event – a massive multitable tournament with a minimum $1 million guaranteed prize pool.
The buy-in for the event is a bankroll-busting $540.00, so Americas Cardroom is hosting a comprehensive satellite schedule which steps up a gear this coming Sunday (July 5th) with two major qualifiers offering a total of twenty-five seats into the feature event.
