Intertops Poker is giving players a second opportunity to win a package to the AU$1 million guaranteed opening event of the 2018 Aussie Millions.
At the end of September, Intertops Poker ran a dual promotion targeted at Australian-based players that consisted of specially-time tournaments with guaranteed prize pools, and an opportunity to win a package to the AU$1 million guaranteed opening event of the 2018 Aussie Millions.
Such was the success of the specially-time tournaments (guaranteeing 100x the buy-in and timed for 4:30pm AEST/2:30am ET), that leg of the promotion was continued throughout October. Now the site is giving players a second opportunity to win an Aussie Millions package.
Although targeted at Australian players, anybody can take part in the promotion. However, the timings of the later events, and the limited amount of travelling expenses included in the prize package, may dissuade players who live on the other side of the world from participating!
How to Win a Package to the 2018 Aussie Millions
If you are based in Eastern Australia, or intend visiting Melbourne for the Aussie Millions in January, this is a promotion well worth participating in. The prize consists of the AU$1,150 buy-in to Event #1 (for Flight 4 on Saturday 20th January), four nights´ accommodation at the Quay West Suites in Melbourne, and $500 (US dollars) towards travel expenses – which will be paid into the winning player´s account.
A minimum of one package is guaranteed in the “Aussie Millions Satellite Final” on Sunday 12th November. This event gets underway at 5:00pm AEST/3:00am ET and has a direct buy-in of $110.00. Players can win a seat in the final event via a two-step qualification path (which starts on Thursday) or via a hyper-turbo “Last Chance Wild West Satellite” at 1:00pm AEST on the day of the final.
The two-step qualification path is most players preferred option, as the Wild West satellite is little more than a coin-flip (although somebody has to win it). Step 1 qualifiers take place every day at six hour intervals (starting at 2:00am AEST) and guarantee one seat into a Step 2 qualifier that takes place daily at 9:00pm AEST. The direct buy-ins for the two steps are $3.30 and $11.00, and the winners of the Step 2 qualifiers are guaranteed a seat in the “Aussie Millions Satellite Final”.
Get More from Intertops Poker This Fall
Intertops Poker is well-known for having one of the best first deposit bonuses for new players, but did you know you can get further no-deposit bonuses by converting your Frequent Player Points (FPPs) into Gold Chips and then exchanging the Gold Chips into the bonus of your choice?
FPPs are awarded at the rate of 7 per $1.00 paid in tournament entry fees and 1 per dollar raked at cash game tables (remember, Intertops Poker distributes FPPs using the dealt rake method, so FPPs add up really quickly). Each time you collect 100 FPPs, they can be converted in Gold Chips and, when you have 20 Gold Chips, you can exchange them for a no-deposit bonus of $5.00.
Obviously, the more Gold Chips you collect, the bigger your bonus will be. However, it is important to note that unlike the first deposit bonus (where you get ninety days to clear the bonus), players taking advantage of the no-deposit bonus promotion only have thirty days in which to clear the bonus amount. Basically, just be careful how many Gold Chips you exchange in one go.
In conclusion, there is plenty going on this fall at Intertops Poker – starting this week. In addition to the Aussie Millions promotion, the site is hosting a special Halloween Bounce KO tournament tomorrow night, there are cash and prize freerolls running every day and – if you make a deposit of $25.00 or more before Friday – you will be issued a ticket for a Depositors Freeroll on Sunday with $1,000 up for grabs.
