GGPoker is one of the most popular online poker sites right now, having grown considerably over the past year. The site started to see massive growth during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and has only continued to grow over the past few months. From quality cash games to amazing, guaranteed events, GGPoker offers it all. One popular option at the site is the GGMasters. The events offer large prize pools and only grow bigger as the months go by. The brand has just announced that as of this month, GGMasters now offer five daily options, each costing just $25 to enter!
Details of the Expansion
Since it began, GGMasters has only grown due to demand. With five events on the schedule each day, players are now able to compete for over $2.5 million each week. The new options cater to various time zones and offer different structures. Each will take place in traditional freezeout format and have a prize pool of $25,000. The largest prize pool in the group is $75,000.
The new schedule began on February 1 and a spokesperson for GGPoker said that because the schedule has already been successful, the site will monitor the guarantees, checking for player participation. The spokesperson stated further that the goal of GGPoker is to provide the best tournament experience, so to do this, the schedule is optimized often.
The site has paid special attention to Sundays, as this is really a favorite day among poker players. On this day, the site offers $25 buy-in GGMasters events with $250,000 up for grabs. These events are probably the most popular among players.
The Daily GGMasters were first launched in September of last year after they became popular in a trail run. This month, the site has decided to add in new events including the GGMasters Asia, Bounty, Fast and Double Stack options.
Low Rake Gaming
For the new schedule, one event is probably going to be the most played out of the added options. The GGMasters Bounty has a buy-in of $25.20. it has a lower rake of just $1.20 and $12 of the amount goes to the bounty and cash pool.
The event will be a big draw for players not only for the bounty aspect but also the low rake percentage. It is the lowest rake option at the site, falling in line next to the $1,050 GGMasters High Roller event. This is an aspect that many players look for in online poker gaming.
The GGMasters is quite affordable but of course, the site also offers satellites for players to earn a spot for a lower cast. The daily events have satellites running for as low as $2.50. For the larger Sunday event, the site has step satellites that start at $1.50. Players can also compete for a seat in the High Rollers event by paying just $10 to compete.
It will be interesting to see how GGPoker is affected by the expansion of its daily tournament schedule. Will the events hit their guarantee every time or will the online poker site have to pay for a few overlays?
