With the NFL season now in full swing, BetOnline Poker has come up with an exciting new promotion in which players can win unlimited cash rewards.
BetOnline Poker´s “Build Your Own NFL Team” promotion rewards cash game players for the action they put in at the tables. It consists of a seven-level leaderboard competition in which everybody cashes, provided they have paid $125.00 in rake during the month of October.
After players “opt-in” the promotion, they are rewarded with a “Free Agent” for every $1.00 contributed to the rake. Once they have collected five “Free Agents”, the five players are exchanged for a “Rookie”. Five “Rookies” can be exchanged for a “Starter”, and the levels continue through “Veterans”, “All-Pros”, “Hall-of-Famers” and “Legends”.
At the end of October, the number of players in each level will be added up, and cash prizes awarded accordingly. BetOnline Poker has kindly provided us with this table for a visual explanation of how the promotion works:

So, if for example you were to collect one Legend (1 x $500.00), two All-Pros (2 x $50.00) and three Veterans (3 x $10.00), you would have $630.00 added to your BetOnline Poker account at the beginning of November.
Halloween Grandstand Finale
Unlike most other leaderboard competitions, you will not be racing against other players in BetOnline´s “Build Your Own NFL Team” promotion, but against yourself. Nonetheless, the leaderboard will be updated every morning throughout the promotion so that players can assess their team´s performance against other players.
To help players complete their best possible teams, BetOnline Poker is holding a “Halloween Special” on October 31st. From 00:00 midnight on 31st October until 23:59pm on 31st October (all times ET) two free agents will be awarded for every $1.00 raked. This gives players a last-minute opportunity to earn the players they need to take their team to the next level.
A Good Month for Tournament Players Too
October is also a good month for tournament players at BetOnline Poker. In addition to more than $250,000 in guaranteed tournament prize pools, there are three MTT leaderboards running for three different buy-in levels. The top 100 players in each buy-in level will automatically be entered into a “Face-Off” tournament at the beginning of November with $3,500 up for grabs.
Furthermore, BetOnline Poker is giving away free entries into its weekday $5,000 guaranteed events. Each week, one hundred players who have competed in any of that week´s $5,000 guaranteed tournaments will be chosen at random and awarded one free entry into any of the following week´s $5,000 guaranteed event.
