Online poker players will be excited to hear that not only is Christmas taking place this week, but partypoker is starting its KO series on the exact same day! Beginning on December 25, players can take part in the KO Series, with events taking place each day through January 19. There is plenty of knockout action to enjoy, with low buy-ins or satellite qualifiers for even more affordable options.
Details of the KO Series
The series will feature events each day with buy-ins ranging from $1.10 to $2,100. There will be three buy-in levels for the Main Events, making it easy for everyone to be able to participate. Take part on the low end with a $11 buy-in while there is also a $109 and $1,050 buy-in as well.
The series is filled with low, medium and high buy-in events so that players can always find KO tournament action. Players who want to try and earn tickets can take part in special satellites, with buy-ins as low as $1.10.
There is also the KO Series SPINS option. Partypoker is offering a $10 event in special SPINS action where players can earn up to $2,100 in tournament tickets. The exclusive promotion will allow players to take part in special SPINS tournaments where a random multiplier is applied. This can increase the prize pool up to 210x the value.
The lowest multiplier will provide a cash prize but then the amounts start to equal KO Series tickets. Players can win $33 tickets, $55, $109, $320, $530, $1,050 and $2,100 tickets. Of course, the chances of winning the higher value tickets are lower but they are still an option.
The Events
The schedule of the KO Series is full of action. The first event is the Micro Christmas Open which has a $2 +$0.20 buy-in with a $10 prize pool. On the 29th, players will find the High Roller event on the schedule, also featuring a $150,000 guaranteed prize pool. This event has a much higher buy-in of $1,000 + $50. The tournament takes place over two days.
