The state of Michigan continues to be a leader when it comes to the online casino industry, and there are new games coming to the state. BetMGM and BetRivers are two of the online casino leaders, and both companies have come out with some new games.
There are some other states with online casino gaming available as well, but Michigan seems to be where the top operators launch their products first. Since these two operators are in direct competition with each other, it’s not a big surprise that each came out with new products at the same time.
BetMGM Launches New Game in Two States
When it comes to online gaming of any kind, BetMGM is an operator that always seems to be at the top of the list. That company just recently announced the launch of a new Las Vegas themed game, and it’s now available in both Michigan and New Jersey.
“Excalibur” is the new name of the online slot game that is now available in both states, and it incorporates many different themes. There are a number of references to the Medieval Times found throughout the game, but the bright lights of Las Vegas are noticeable as well.
At some point BetMGM is going to launch this game in Pennsylvania and West Virginia as well as BetMGM has a presence in both of those markets. Win Studios created this new game, and it’s also responsible for a number of new titles on the BetMGM catalog.
There are 243 different ways to win while playing Excalibur, and it’s a game is expected to become popular right away. This game follows a recent trend from BetMGM as the company is looking to bring the Vegas experience to other states.
Luxor Fortunes was released back in February, and this game features scenes and symbols from the famous Luxor Hotel & Casino. Bellagio Fountains of Fortune and MGM Grand Millions were also released by BetMGM and all fall under the same category.
1×2 Network Powering BetRivers
BetRivers has contracts with a number of different developers to produce online casino games, and that list includes 1×2 Network. This company is based out of the UK, but it recently formed a partnership with Rush Street Interactive, and it got right to work.
This partnership is going to help set BetRivers apart from other operators as this was an exclusive deal signed between the two. The 1×2 Network was approved back in August 2023 as a full gaming supplier by the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
While BetMGM has simply been rolling out just one game at a time, this new deal allows 1×2 Network to offer up a number of new selections at once. Most of these games have already been played in the UK, but they can only be found at BetRivers in the United States.
There were other online casino operators in the mix to sign a deal with 1×2 Network, but the company felt that BetRivers provided the best option.
