High Stakes Poker on PokerGO To Feature Top Players in 2022

High Stakes Poker is returning to PokerGO for its ninth season. The season will feature some of the best poker players we know, including those that have participated in the series before. Moreover, new players who are building a name for themselves in the high-stakes circuit will also appear.

The PokerGO Vice President took the liberty of announcing the return of High Stakes Poker. Mori Eskandani, also a Poker Hall of Famer, said that the upcoming season is the purest form of poker that fans can enjoy. He also said the event captures the traditional authenticity of High Stakes Poker, which was launched in 2006.

Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Among Others Will Appear for Season 9

Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius, and Tom Dwan will headline the coming High Stakes Poker. On the other hand, Gabe Kaplan, alongside A.J. Benza, will be behind the mic calling the action.

The first episode will air on February 21 on PokerGO. Ivey, Dwan, and Antonius are expected to appear to compete in the $200/$400 no-limit hold 'em match. Each will pay a buy-in of $100,000.

The 2021 World Series of Poker Main Event champion, Koray Aldemir, is also expected to join the action. Kim Hultman plans to make a debut appearance in the High Stakes Poker. Kim is a slot and casino streamer on YouTube Channel called LetsGiveitASpin.

Garrett Adelstein is also planning to join the action. He is a high-stakes legend from Southern California. He is a regular player at the Bike and Hustler Casino Live.

Another poker hall of Famer, Doyle Brunson, is set to highlight season nine of High Stakes Poker. The 88-year-old poker player is a great definition that age is just a number. Also nicknamed Texas Dolly, Doyle hopes to compete in the upcoming event.

Doyle has ten WSOP bracelets under his name. He is the second all-time best alongside Johnny Chan and Ivey. He also has one title in the World Poker Tour. Doyle had announced his retirement from poker due to health issues but returned last year for the WSOP Main Event at Rio.
