Hard Rock Casino Rockford is reported to have added live table games and blackjack on April 6. This is a huge improvement in its operations as it will increase its portfolio. Also, it will offer players extra choices for electronic games and slots that have in-demand table games.
The Casino's New Six Tables
The Illinois Gaming Board allowed Hard Rock Casino to offer more games. Its 37,000 square feet gaming floor started offering Ultimate Texas Hold'em, three-card poker, and Blackjack at 10 a.m.
It has designated space for six table games; one for Ultimate Hold'Em, one for three-card poker, and four blackjack tables. Hard Rock Rockford's President, Geno Iafrate, stated that table games are crucial in the casino's operations and they make it a complete casino.
Did Players' Requests Prompt Hard Rock Casino to Add More Table Games?
The gaming operator has planned to improve its customers' experience for a long period. The addition of the new table games is a result of direct client requests instead of market research.
Hard Rock Casino Rockford launched in 2021 and it has received many requests for more table games. It has electronic table games and over 600 slots. Still, it is located at 610 N. Bell School Road.
The gaming property operated under the A Hard Rock Opening Act until it completed its upgrade. It required more time to hire extra workers who will offer table games. Still, its first floor expansion created 20 job posts.
Hard Rock Casino has 300 employees now. Iafrate said that live table games have been their most requested gaming option since they started operating. Many players have approached him directly and some of them assured him they will return once the casino starts offering table games.
Its Pricing Policy
The Illinois Gaming Board checked the casino's test run on Monday when it previewed VIP players' table games. Rick Nielsen from Cheap Trick won the first blackjack game. Some clients placed $10 minimum wagers.
Hard Rock revealed it will have a flexible pricing policy for table limits and demand will directly influence them. Its new six tables will broaden its customized offers that will meet different players' gaming needs.
Has the Local Community Benefited from the Casino?
The gaming site has raked in about $73.4 million in gross gaming revenue and hosted over 634,000 guests since it launched in November 2021. It has funded the local community with over $4.3 million in gaming tax revenue. Nevertheless, Mayor Tom McNamara stated that Rockford City has a mutually beneficial collaboration with Hard Rock Casino.
He added that the casino has constantly delivered and it considers the community's welfare. Iafrate disclosed that the recent expansion will create more jobs since they will launch their second Table Games Dealer School shortly. Besides, it will introduce more schools in the future to increase its workforce.
Hard Rock Casino will add more amenities to its gaming floor. It is constructing a huge casino complex near Interstate 90 and East State Street. But, the casino hasn't revealed the new project's timeline.
