The 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP) ended a few days ago. But GGPoker has scheduled an interesting 2022 WSOP Online series for poker diehards.
Ty Stewart, Executive Director and Senior Vice President for WSOP, said that many poker fans didn't want it to end. Yet, WSOP Online's return will give players another opportunity to win bracelets and various cash prizes.
GGPoker and WSOP are focusing on making this the biggest poker series this year, as players will get an opportunity to engage in online and live poker. Daniel Negreanu, six-time WSOP bracelet champion and GGPoker's ambassador, stated that he is interested in winning a WSOP Online bracelet.
The poker legend added that he is glad to create another tradition for players to celebrate the game. Besides, live event bracelets are as prestigious as online bracelets, and he is determined to add a WSOP Online bracelet to his collection.
Will There Be a New Online Main Event Record?
The $5,000 WSOP Online Main Event will be the forthcoming series' highlight. Aleksei "Ha KoJleHu" Vandyshev won the 2021 Main Event.
The 2022 Main Event will comprise nine starting flights occurring between August 28 and September 26 and have a $20,000,000 guarantee. Ali Nejad and Jeff Gross, GGPoker Ambassadors, will offer commentary in the event's live-streamed final table on September 27.

Niklas Astedt joined GGTeam Champions after winning $758,443 in the 2021 WSOP Super Circuit Online (WSOPC) Series Main Event.
Vandyshev joined him in September 2021, and Jifeng "Snakey" Huang won the WSOPC Online Winter Series Main Event and qualified in January 2022.
Online Edition $1,000,000 Mystery Bounty Returns
The $1,000,000 Mystery Bounty is expected to attract many players in the 2022 WSOP Online. Its live version was successful this summer as Matt Glantz won the highest bounty prize.
Stage 1s of the bounty's online version will occur between August 8 and August 22, while Day 2 will start on August 22 at 18:00 (UST). Nejad and Gross will provide commentary on the Million Dollar Bounty on August 27.
