BetMGM in West Virginia
West Virginia’s recent expansion into the online gambling industry has drawn the interest of Top Casino game developer NetEnt. NetEnt announced that they will be partnering with BetMGM in launching an online casino in West Virginia. BetMGM already offers NetEnt’s Casino games in New Jersey and with this new partnership, analysts say the two companies will expand to more US states soon.
West Virginia’s legal online gaming market launched in July 2020, as Draftkings opened its first online casino to serve its local players. Just before September, BetMGM opened its first online casino that hosted 30 games. BetMGM’s Vice president for Gaming, Matthew Sunderland, said that NetEnt games have proven to be key revenue drivers for their operations in New Jersey. With this partnership expansion to West Virginia, they hope to take advantage of NetEnt’s ability to create engaging and immersive casino games that appeal to all kinds of gamers. NetEnt’s offerings in New Jersey and Pennsylvania have been extremely popular among local players. Also worthy of note is the fact that NetEnt has achieved an increase of at least three digits on gross gaming revenues for the second quarter of 2020 both in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
BetMGM Casino in the mountain state will launch with 30 games ranging from world-class blackjack and roulette games to gaming slots including the state’s only progressive jackpot-linked games with a potential of huge payouts with every spin. This new product will be presented as a dedicated tab on the BetMGM Sports West Virginia Mobile App, therefore complementing the sports betting product as both an interactive and compressive online Casino Gaming experience.

BetMGM in New Jersey
Scientific Games Corporation has extended its partnership with BetMGM. Under the terms of the partnership agreement, BetMGM will operate the company’s OpenGaming product suite, including the Open Gaming System (OGS), which incorporates in-house content and third-party games. The operator will also have access to the latest player engagement tools including free spins and jackpot features to drive its iGaming offering.
BetMGM will receive access to Scientific Games’ dedicated gamification and player management tools, therefore allowing the company to make improvements to its already existing iGaming experience.
BetMGM players in the New Jersey market now have access to unique gaming content provided by Scientific Games as part of their partnership.
Boosting the Gaming Content Offering
All thanks to the open gaming product software that features the open gaming system for BetMGM, Scientific Gaming will be able to aggregate content from established gaming vendors across the industry and provide cutting edge gaming experience. BetMGM will receive access to several US player-favorite games and access to jackpot offers, free spins, etc.
The open gaming system is already available to BetMGM operators in New Jersey, thereby serving as a precursor for further expansion in Pennsylvania that will hopefully spread across the entire United States eventually.
