Two events occurred last week to negatively impact regulated gambling in New York. A request for tax concessions from two of the state´s commercial casinos was denied, and proposed revenues from the regulation of online poker were scratched from the state´s budget.
According to a blog post on the Americas Cardroom website, Million Dollar Sundays will become a permanent fixture on the Winning Poker Network´s tournament schedule starting this week. The events will retain their $265.00 buy-in and be supported by an even stronger satellite schedule.
