Unibet Poker is a top poker brand, offering online and land-based gaming around the globe. The brand will be heading to Dublin, Ireland in February to sponsor the Dublin Poker Festival and host the Unibet Open at the same time. The Unibet Open will run from February 26tth to March 1st and offer ton of tournament action.
Details of Unibet Open
The Unibet Open Dublin 2020 is the third visit for the brand to the Irish capital. It first arrived in Dublin way back in 2011 and then in 2018, when a record-breaking event was held. The online poker brand is hoping that they will see just as good a turnout this year as the gaming kicks off in mid-February.
The Bonnington Hotel will host the event with the first tournament on the schedule being a satellite to the Main Event on February 25th. The Main Event will kick off on the 27th and will have a buy-in of €1,000 + €100 and 30,000 in starting chips. Players are vying for a piece of the €250,000 prize pool.
The satellite offers a much lower buy-in of €150 + €15 and will have blind levels of 20 minutes with 10,000 in starting chips. The event is a re-entry with registration closing at level seven.
On the 26th, players will kick things off with the first official event, the Unibet Open-er. This event has a buy-in of €200 + €25 and will offer 30 minute blinds and a starting stack of 20,000 chips. Players have one option for reentry which is offered up until level 9.
Additional events on the 26th include a satellite to the high roller, the high roller, Tag Team Championship and a satellite to the Main Event. On Thursday, players will have access to additional events including the NLH Turbo and the Unibet Battle Royale.
Unique Events
The Unibet Poker Open will also include unique events to the schedule. This will include the Flipout tournament on February 28th with a super low buy-in of €25 + €5. Pot Limit Omaha event is set for the 29th, offering a mid-level buy-in of €150 + €15. A ladies event is also on the schedule, titled #QUEENRULES. This event has a buy-in of €80 + €10 with 15,000 in starting chips and 20 minute blinds.
A Unibet Community Freeroll is on the schedule as well as a Flipout XL, the Irish Poker, Mini ME and a Progressive Knockout.
Dublin Poker Festival
As mentioned earlier, the Unibet Poker Open will take place at the same time as the Dublin Poker Festival. The Dublin Poker Festival 2020 is in this 7th year, running from February 13th through the 23rd. it offers a ton of action, with 39 events on the schedule. Players of every bankroll will find something to enjoy.
