Due to the popularity of last month´s free Blackjack promotion, Intertops Poker is running the event again – but only until this coming Saturday.
If you were playing at Intertops Poker last month, you may recall a Blackjack promotion run by the site that gave players the opportunity to play up to five $2 games of Blackjack per day (free of charge) and receive their winnings in the form of a casino bonus. Well, due to the popularity of the promotion, it is back in the poker client, and players have until Saturday to take advantage of the repeat opportunity.
Also this week, Intertops Poker is running the second of its monthly Gold Rush tournaments on Friday, freeroll and low buy-in satellites for the $1,200 guaranteed Monday Night Football tournament, and a series of qualifiers feeding into an event on Sunday night in which you could win a package to the WSOPC Aruba in November. All in all, it´s a good time to be playing at Intertops Poker.
How the Blackjack Promotion Works
If you missed last month´s Blackjack promotion, here´s a quick résumé of how it works. Intertops Poker is giving you fifteen $2 games of Blackjack up until Saturday. You can play up to five of the fifteen games each day by clicking on the casino button in the poker client and playing any of the Lucktap Blackjack games (Double Draw Blackjack, Perfect Pairs Blackjack, or regular Blackjack).
Anything you win will be paid to you in the form of a free casino bonus that you have to clear within five days by playing Lucktap Blackjack games (the rollover requirement is 15x the bonus amount). It´s a pretty good offer, and although winnings are capped at $250 per player, it shouldn´t be too difficult to pick up extra ten or twenty dollars and roll it over fairly quickly.
Don´t Miss the September Gold Rush Tournament
Potentially more lucrative is Friday´s Gold Rush tournament. This $200 guaranteed event is scheduled for 9:10am (all times ET) and has a buy-in of 20 Gold Chips. You can enhance your chances of cashing by re-buying 1,000 chips during (up to twice) during the sixty minutes of late registration, or purchasing an add-on of 1,500 chips during the first break. Re-buys and add-ons cost 20 Gold Coins each.
Considering that if you were to exchange 20 Gold Chips for a no deposit poker bonus, and the value of the bonus you receive is $5, this is a pretty good tournament. The midweek Mighty Midgets tournament has a 10 Gold Chip buy-in and only guarantees $50 in prize money, so you´ll be sharing four times the prize money for just double the buy-in – if you get up early enough to play in the tournament.
Freeroll into Monday Night´s Football Tournament
Last week, Intertops Poker launched its Football Frenzy promotion consisting of three special poker tournaments that coincide with televised football games. The next big tournament is on Thursday night when the Packers play the Eagles, and there is an opportunity to win free sports bets on Saturday night during the Skybox college football game.
The big game of the weekend is on Monday night when the overrated Browns take on the in-form Steelers, and when the simultaneous poker tournament on Intertops Poker has a guaranteed prize pool of $1,200. Freeroll and low buy-in satellites into the Monday night tournament are running throughout Saturday, Sunday, and Monday – so don´t miss your chance to win a seat for pennies on the dollar.
Finally, another Chance to Win a Package to the WSOPC Aruba
The WSOPC Aruba is less than two months away and time is running out to take advantage of Intertops Poker´s qualifiers to the $250,000 guaranteed Main Event. Step 1 and Step 2 qualifiers for Sunday´s “Final” started last night; and while there is a freeroll satellite scheduled for Sunday morning at 7:00am, your best chances of bagging a cheap seat may be in the $11 buy-in satellites at 10:00am and 2:00pm.
The prize is certainly worth winning as it consists of the Main Event entry, five nights´ accommodation for two in the Aruba Hilton Resort, and $500 towards your travel expenses. You are guaranteed a good time from the Intertops hospitality team; and, if the cards fall in your favor, you could be returning from Aruba with much more than happy memories. As I wrote at the top of the page, “it´s a good time to be playing at Intertops Poker”.
