This week, another online casino joins the fray in Pennsylvania. BetAmerica began a soft-launch on January 28th of their online casino and after two days of testing, should be approved today for a full launch. The online casino will be the second to launch in less than a week as FanDuel began offering services just a few days prior. Now, a total of seven casinos will be operating in Pennsylvania within the new iGaming market.
Details of BetAmerica Casino
Players who visit the BetAmerica online casino will find that brand offers a total of 43 slot titles. While this is not a ton when compared to online casinos like those in New Jersey, it is quite a bit for sites in Pennsylvania. The site will also offer four roulette games and one blackjack title. The online casino has been integrated within the sportsbook of the brand.
BetAmerica is able to operate in the state thanks to a partnership involving their operator, Churchill Downs, and the Presque Isle Downs & Casino. The online casino is currently offered in mobile web browser and desktop modes. An app can be found in the app store, but it is only for players located in the state of New Jersey.
To play in Pennsylvania, players will need to visit the Bet America site and sign up for a new player account. Those who have already joined the sportsbook will not have to create a new account, just click on the casino games to begin playing.
For a new account, players are required to provide their name, birthdate, address, last four numbers of the social security number and create a password. Once set up, a deposit can be made and players can get started playing casino games for real money.
Banking Options
When it comes to banking methods, the BetAmerica brand offers well-rounded solutions. Players will have several ways to make a deposit while only a choice few are offered for withdrawal. Examples of deposit methods include credit and debit card, online bank transfer, Play+, Skrill, check and cash deposit.
For withdrawal, players will need to use an ACH/e-check, Check or PayPal. The quickest solution would be the PayPal method. The site does note that the options for withdrawal will vary based on the player’s account history and verification status.
Slowly but surely, the online casino gaming market of Pennsylvania is growing. Having approved the industry in late 2017, players have waited a long time to see online gaming sites launched and fully operational. The first sites went live in the summer of 2019 and over the past few months, we have seen new operators get started with services.
While the offerings are small, the industry is doing well and will only continue to grow as more games are added to existing operators’ offerings and new brands get started in the industry. We look forward to watching Pennsylvania iGaming grow and offer quality gaming options to residents as well as visitors to the state.
