PartyPoker created a new tournament schedule comprising hundreds of weekly events. They include two new Sunday majors and the following tournaments.
Supers Galore and Daily Legends
Daily Legends will occur between 9 am and 2 am GMT, a change from the usual peak European hours. Thus, Canadian and American poker diehards can take part in large guaranteed events. Besides, PartyPoker will always have an ongoing Daily Legend tournament.
They are the poker operator's daily events with huge guarantees. It added a $215 buy-in $30,000 guaranteed Big Weekend event that it will organize on Saturdays.
Supers resemble Daily Legends but their guarantees are bigger. PartyPoker will run them on Fridays and Saturdays. Their buy-ins will range between $5.50 and $530.
$50,000 Sunday Carnivals
Players who cannot purchase a $109 Sunday Party buy-in or who don't progress in other qualifying rounds can try The Sunday Carnival. It is a $22 buy-in tournament with a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool. Its structure resembles that of Sunday Party, but, blinds increase in eight-minute intervals, unlike the usual 12 minutes.
The Sunday Carnival has satellites galore. The two tournaments start on Sunday at 7:05 p.m. GMT and last for two days.
Still, Day 1's action will end after 16 players remain at the table. They will resume playing next Monday at 8:05 p.m.
Satellite Wins Have Prolonged Durability
PartyPoker gathers opinions from its clients on various channels including social media. Their suggestions and recommendations have prompted it to change its satellite event offers.
It has extended most of its satellites' expiry dates from one week to 45 days hence offering more flexibility. Also, players don't automatically register for target events, especially those who love phased satellites.
PartyPoker marks satellites that auto-register in the events' lobby. Other satellites were in its old schedule and their satellites fed the Supers and Daily Legends tournaments.
Larger Weekly Guarantees
PartyPoker has increased tournament offers at each buy-in level. For instance, The Super Micro's of $0.11 to $0.49 have over a hundred extra events weekly.
Some players believe that freerolls don't represent a poker event despite them being fun. This is common, especially among people who lack financial interest. Even so, a player can now make a $0.11 buy-in to compete in a competitive poker tournament.
The tournament's lobby contains more turbo-structured games, unlike the old MTT schedule. But they still have a few re-entries, late registration, and the blind structure which retains average stacks in various playing levels.
A $150,000 Guaranteed Sunday Party
PartyPoker will hold its first The Sunday Party on February 5. It will have $109 buy-ins and a $150,000 guaranteed pool thus making it the poker site's largest guaranteed event.
The tournament will have high value in the first several weeks since PartyPoker's other $109 buy-in events are less than $70,000. The new satellite system will enable the site to increase its fields in satellites with low buy-ins of $0.01.
