The Divisional Round of the 2021-22 NFL Playoffs is here after a successful Super Wild Card Weekend. Only eight teams remain in the postseason, with each of them hoping to go all the way and win Super Bowl 56.

The Packers will now face the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round — a team that Rodgers is 0-3 against in three postseason outings. If Green Bay can overcome recent history, there’s a strong possibility that they’ll continue being Super Bowl 56 favorites into the next round of the playoffs.
Chiefs and Bills Continue to Trail Packers
The Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills opened the postseason as having the second- and third-best Super Bowl 56 odds, respectively. After handling their business against their Wild Card opponents, that continues to be the case heading into the Divisional Round.
The Chiefs opened at +500 odds last week, which has since improved to +400 as of Thursday. Kansas City made quick work of the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend, defeating them 42-21 in what could be Ben Roethlisberger’s final NFL game. Patrick Mahomes continued playing like a Super Bowl MVP candidate while the Chiefs defense held the Steelers to just 257 total yards on offense — their lowest total allowed this season.
Meanwhile, the Bills absolutely destroyed the New England Patriots in the opening round of the playoffs, routing their AFC East rivals to the tune of a 47-17 score. That extended Buffalo’s winning streak to five games and improved the team’s Super Bowl 56 odds from +800 last week to a promising +500.
Now, the Chiefs and Bills will square off in a Divisional Round matchup. The two teams met in last year’s AFC Championship Game, where Kansas City got the wind, so it’s clear that Buffalo will be looking for revenge. The Bills did defeat the Chiefs, 38-20, in Week 5, however, a lot has changed since then and both squads are better than they were earlier in the season.
Whichever team wins this surely entertaining matchup could see a big jump in their Super Bowl 56 odds come next week.
