Sports betting is big business in the state of New Jersey. Not only are land-based venues doing well, but mobile and online books are serving customers in record numbers. Scientific Games is one company in on the action, already working with Caesars Sportsbook app to offer wagering in the state.
It was also announced that the brand will be working with Wynn Resorts to offer sports betting as well. Scientific Games presence in the state is growing and the company will be in a prime position to capture a large market share based on how well they perform once even more gaming is offered.
Online Gaming and Sports Betting
Wynn Resorts will be offering online gaming as well as sports betting via Scientific Games. A press release from both companies was just provided a few weeks ago, stating that Wynn Resorts plans on launching in New Jersey first, utilizing several products of Scientific Games.
Scientific Games is already home to quality products and gaming options including 88 Fortunes and Zeus. Players in New Jersey will soon have access to such content via the Wynn Resorts and Scientific Games partnership.
In a recent interview, Play NJ spoke with SG Digital’s Keith O’Loughlin who stated that Wynn is a brand that everyone in the US will look at and see that it stands for excellence. The brand gives consumers a great experience and that is what SG has focused on as a business. They are excited to be working with the casino provider as they launch online games.
Licensing information involving the deal has yet to be revealed. It is unclear as to which license holder the company will be working with in order to launch an online platform.

Titled OpenSports, the product is new to the market and signifies a new evolution for the industry. According to Scientific Games, the new platform takes everything the company has learned over the years and brings it together as one. A brand can simply give the company their logo and SG integrates everything in one place for maximum online sports betting operations.
Wynn made a smart decision by partnering with Scientific Games. They will be able to offer quality online gaming solutions as well as sports betting via a brand that is experienced and well-known. It will certainly be interesting to see how the brand fares when they enter the already busy market.
