Noah Carbone, the Palm Beach Kennel Club Card Room director, has said that things are bouncing back to normalcy and expecting more action in the next few weeks. Noah said that people are returning to play poker in their poker room, saying that it has contributed to the thriving business at Palm Beach Kennel Club.
Noah also encouraged more people to join them as the club has ensured a safe and pleasant environment for poker players. Noah also added that Palm Beach Kennel was the best place to spend time in South Florida this winter. Palm Beach will be hosting an eight-event tournament from January next year.
What Is the Event’s Schedule?
The Palm Beach Kennel Club Card Room will host eight poker events from January 1 to January 10, 2021. There will be a $45,000 prize money. Those who will play and win the $350 buy-in on no limit hold’em game between January 8 and January 10 will get $25,000. All occasions will be commencing at 12:15 p.m. local time, whereby the first seven tournaments are scheduled as single-day events. Also, there will be limitless re-entry over the first break.
Palm Beach Kennel Club Has Already Addressed Players’ Safety
The West Palm Beach poker room will be hosting its first major event since it reopened in May. The club had closed for approximately two months following the COVID-19 pandemic. Six months later, the PBKC is continually offering its services in safe environments after installing new protocols to ensure its visitors’ and employees’ safety.
Carbone said that the club was happy that every employee returned to work in the new normal environment. He added that they had put forth safety procedures stating that he was confident that they would remain safe from contracting the Coronavirus when visitors would visit. The club uses the PBKC Clean Team to clean the place and invents other procedures that ensure the best poker gaming experience to all customers.
When the club was closed, the officials spent the time researching ways to provide its customers with safe poker products. One of the things the cardroom employees are supposed to do is pass through a screening zone, similar to what guests pass through. Also, the club is following the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and other recommendations as instructed by the government.
The club also has signage reminding employees and guests to observe social distancing placed through the establishment. Visitors and employees have to wear masks and sanitize. Apart from the other general COVID-19 restriction measures, PBKC has found success in using game containment.
This is where players have to choose their game of the day and remain to play the game through the specified time. Also, dealer rotation has been restricted, limiting the number of interactions and possible spread of the Coronavirus. Apart from that, the club employees are sanitizing cards before every game. Also, prior to chip recirculation, they are being sanitized.
By following these procedures every day and diligently, PBKC has managed to retain visitors, increase the longevity of games, and ensure players’ safety. With these and more procedures, the club is ready to host the January card player poker tournament.
