Online poker provider GGPoker has launched its first ever knock-out exclusive tournament series. Players can now compete in progressive knockout tournament action with an amazing 350 events on the schedule along with around 200 side events. There will be a massive $40 million in prize money on offer with players able to compete for two weeks via the Bounty Builder Series.
Details of the Series
With so much on offer, it will not be difficult for players to find something to take part in every day of the series. Buy-ins start at a very low $5.25, which makes the series affordable for everyone. Players who have a little bit more money to spend will find events in the higher buy-in range, with amounts going as high as $10,300.
Each day of the Bounty Builder Series, the schedule will include two to three dozen events. Some will be new options while others will be based on the existing tournament schedule. The series will include options like PLO as well as Beat the Pros and Six Shooter.
One highlight of the series is the daily Main Event editions. Every day, these events will take place with guarantees changing from $75,000 to $150,000. The Bounty King Main Event will have a buy-in of $315 and feature a nice $150,000 prize pool. On the high end, players can compete in the High Roller Main Event edition, with the same prize pool but a much higher $3,150 buy-in.
Each Sunday during the series, players will be able to compete in a Main Event with a $210 buy-in that includes a prize pool guarantee of $250,000.
New Format Released During the Series
Online poker players love a good format and GGPoker is releasing a new tournament format just in time for the Bounty Builder Series. Titled Speed Racer, players will be able to play in this tournament type and receive only 10 big blinds. The levels last only two minutes each. Buy-ins range from $10.50 to $105.
These events will play in the progressive knockout format, as will all events in the Bounty Builder Series. With this format type, a portion of the prize pool goes towards bounties and the rest towards the regular prize pool. At GGPoker, 50% goes to bounties and the rest in the prize pool. When you knock out a player, 50% of the player bounty goes to the victor and the other half towards their own bounty.
The format is quite popular among players as it creates even more earning opportunity. Players now only can earn by placing in the money, but they can also keep the bounty money which helps to add even more to their prize total.
Alongside the Bounty Builder Series is a leaderboard competition. Players will earn points for competing in events, so the more you take part in, the more points you can earn. The leaderboard will provide $100,000 in prizes to those who finish at the top of the list! It will certainly be exciting to see how many players participate in this event as well as how much money is generated after it is all said and done!
