On Sunday (June 25th), BetOnline Poker will be hosting its monthly $100,000 guaranteed Main Event. Up until the end of Level 6 (60 minutes), players whose chip stacks dip below 3,000 chips have the option to re-buy as often as they wish for $109.00 and, at the end of Level 6, there is the option of a 6,000 chip add-on for a further $109.00. Thereafter, the Main Event continues in a freezeout format.
Weekday Satellites into Sunday´s Main Event
Over the next three days, $11.00 buy-in satellites guaranteeing two seats into the Main Event are running every four hours. These are popular during peak U.S. hours, but offer the potential of an overlay during the quieter times of the day. Like the Main Event, they only have fifty minutes of late registration, so are worth a look if you happen to be online in the early hours of the morning.
Over the next three days, BetOnline Poker is also hosting a $33.00 buy-in satellite guaranteeing three seats into the Main Event at 10:00pm (ET). The Action Heats Up at the Weekend
There is likely to be less value around on Saturday when, at 8:00pm (ET), a $44.00 buy-in satellite guarantees four seats into the Main Event. This is because a sub-satellite six hours earlier with a $4.40 buy-in represents the best chance players with small bankrolls have to qualify for the Main Event – there being little likelihood of players in the $44.00 qualifier flexing their bankrolls for re-buys and add-ons.
Finally, prior to the Main Event on Sunday, two hyper satellites take place at 2:00pm and 5:00pm (ET), each with a buy-in of $16.50 and each guaranteeing three seats into the target event. Players are advised that, because this is a hyper-turbo qualifier, late registration will only be open for fifteen minutes, so make sure you enter in good time if you have not already qualified via another route.
The Sit & Go Steps Main Event Program
The Sit & Go Steps Main Event program consists of a series of 6-Max Sit & Go games, except for the entry level freeroll which takes place at 7:30pm (ET) on Friday. The top thirty players in the freeroll tournament will win an entry ticket to Step 1 Sit & Go (buy-in $0.24), from which the top two players will progress onto a Step 2 Sit & Go (buy-in $0.67).
Only the winner of Step 2 games will progress onto Step 3 (buy-in $3.66), and only the winner of Step 3 games will progress onto Step 4 (buy-in $19.99). Although this structure has the potential to result in the higher level games filling slowly, players have the option of using Comp Points to buy-in at any of the four paid-for stages.
