Following the rip-roaring success of the Winning Poker Network’s (WPN) inaugural debut of “The Cage” last month, a Pot-Limit Omaha game is scheduled.
The Cage combines elements of ring games and tournament action into one, putting a time clock on a cash game and prohibiting players who bust out from re-buying. With a buy-in of $5,100, the first running of The Cage under a Texas Hold’em format reached a prize pool of $330,000.
The Cage II will be played as No-Limit Hold’em on November 12, while The Cage under a Pot-Limit Omaha format is scheduled for November 26 –the day before Thanksgiving. Both November games also require a $5,100 buy-in.
